Geometry February 3rd

Notes today are a little messy, I had some technological difficulties. Basically, we are doing another special triangle, a 30-60-90 triangle. The side across from the 30 degree angle is the "short leg." The side across from the 60 degree angle is the "long leg" and the hypotenuse you should already know. We will work some more with these on Monday.

We worked on 45-45-90 triangles today as well.

Geometry Honors February 2nd

We started Special Right Triangles today
Today's triangle was is 45-45-90, also called an isosceles right triangle.

Algebra 2 February 1st

The objective today was to be able to work with the Square Root Property in solving polynomials. Basically, it's another way to solve quadratic equations, and we're working toward completing the square.

We reviewed our finals from last semester today. 
Homework is to make corrections on the finals, as well as get the grading policy sheet signed by a parent/guardian.
