Geometry April 9th

I handed back a quiz today that was just plain ugly. I obviously did not do a very effective job of explaining that stuff. We went over it in class, and did a make-up quiz at the end of the period. Homework was to correct the old quiz, or to do the problems if you were absent. We will be reviewing for state testing this week, so the worksheets we'll be using aren't really "attachable." Due today was one about parallel lines and transversals. 

Geometry April 5th & 6th

Thursday we took a quiz in class. Some seemed to think it went well, others not so much.

Friday: We are starting to review some of the things we have covered this year because we'll be taking the state test April 16th through the 20th. We started with parallel lines and transversals today. We had a worksheet for homework that I don't have saved on the computer, so it's not attached, you'll have to get that from me if you were gone.

Geometry April 6th, Equations of Circles

We introduced a basic equation of a circle today. Yesterday we had a number of people absent, so we had a work day.

Geometry April 4th

We worked on inscribed circles today. There will be a quiz tomorrow over our circle stuff. Notes are attached.

Geometry Honors April 4th

We learned about tangents to circles today. Those notes are attached, as well as Tuesday's notes for inscribed angles.

I didn't have a whole lot of time to get notes on here today, but everyone in class seemed to be pretty comfortable with it. If you're stuck, come talk to me!

April 3rd Geometry - Arc Length

We did some arc length today in class. Arc length and arc measure are 2 different things. Measure should be in degrees, and length will be in units such as inches, feet, miles, etc.
